When traveling through the breathtaking Sandhills along Highway 2 and 83 we welcome you to stay with us at the Roadside Inn. Our entire staff is there to serve you and ensure that your stay is an enjoyable one. The Roadside Inn is located on Nebraska's Highway 2 scenic byway. Thedford is surrounded by dunes of sand covered in luscious native grasses and wildflowers throughout the spring and summer. Wildlife can be spotted throughout the fields and alongside the Middle Loup River.

We offer a free continental breakfast from 6 a.m.-10 a.m. We are a pet friendly hotel so we encourage you to bring your furry companions along for a stay you'll never forget. We also provide free wireless high-speed internet, blow dryers, iron & ironing boards, and guest laundry. We have plenty of outdoor space for picnicking. We do have RV parking with water, electric, and sewer hookups. Some of our many other services include free local calls, bus/truck parking, fax/copy machine, and banquet/meeting rooms.

If you enjoy being outdoors we encourage you to visit some of the many breathtaking attractions in the area. Such as the Nebraska national forest, Mckelvie national forest, Merritt reservoir, Thedford national wildlife refugee, and the sandhills 18-hole golf course. If you have an eye for art, a trip to our local Thedford art gallery is for you. If you enjoy taking risks you will have the time of your life at the Rosebud casino. There's no better way to end a beautiful day than having dinner at some of the best restaurants in the area. Located right next to the Roadside Inn is the Sandhills Coral. If you enjoy taking in the beauty of the sandhills than a quick drive to go eat at the Double t in Halsey, located 17 miles from us, is for you. On your way out be sure to stop by Anthem Coffee for a little treat.
